News:
WXPL is back on air! The old transmitter is fixed and we are now broadcasting in stereo! As you can see this web page was thrown together rather quickly, but it should serve it’s propose until an eager tech savvy DJ creates a better one (hint, hint). We Encourage all of our DJ’s to come up with new ways to get our station more listeners. If there are any DJs interested in helping out with PR (public relations) then please contact Christian Wilfong at "cwilfong@student.fsc.edu". I’m technically in charge of PR but I believe all of our DJs should be allowed to generate ideas and shape WXPL into something we can all be proud to be a part of. I hope this web page will become a good resource for both listeners of the station and WXPL’s station DJ’s. Keep checking this site for updates. My first order of business is to create a program guide displaying all of WXPL’s radio shows combined with a brief description of what kinds of music and information the show emotes. That way listeners can tune in for shows that interest them. Sounds simple enough but unfortunately everything at our station takes about three space years to complete. Any who, remember to check back here sometime soon for more updates. Oh and also for all you WXPL DJ’s out there remember “ask not what your station can do for you, ask what you can do for your station.” Thanks.
